Dr. Jennifer Jewell-Larsen is a Naturopathic doctor whose clinical experience includes caring for the whole family – from infants to the elderly.
Her treatment plans incorporate nutrition, functional foods, appropriate exercise, herbal medicine, vitamins and minerals, homeopathy, alternative therapies, and synthetic and bio-identical hormone replacement. Dr. Jewell-Larsen has helped patients improve and overcome a wide spectrum of conditions including diabetes, hypertension, adrenal dysfunction, anxiety, chronic headaches, high cholesterol, PMS, menopausal symptoms, infertility, thyroid disorders, insomnia, depression, eczema, inflammatory bowel diseases, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), chronic respiratory and ear infections, arthritis and allergies.
Dr. Jewell-Larsen received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Victoria (Canada). She completed additional clinical training at Puget Sound Birth Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Lake Forest Park Senior Center, Group Health Cooperative, as well as course work in advanced pediatrics, endocrinology, gynecology and clinical nutrition. Upon completing her medical training, Dr. Jewell-Lasen worked for two years at the Young Naturopathic Center for Wellness in Los Gatos, Californa. She founded Naturopathic Family Health in January, 2011.
Dr. Jewell-Larsen is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
In her spare time, Dr. Jewell-Larsen enjoys gardening, reading and crafting with her children. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her family and works with patients primarily through telemedicine.
